Major achievements

Picture
Development of technology for robotic-assisted motor rehabilitation of children with gait deficiencies caused by neurological disorders (in particular cerebral palsy - CP):
  • an autonomous lower limb exoskeleton tested in the engineering lab with 1 CP child, 1 healthy child and 4 healthy (small-sized) adults
  • a powered ankle foot orthosis tested in the clinical gait lab with 8 CP children, 2 healthy children and 2 healthy adults
  • a powered hip module tested in the engineering lab with 1 healthy adult
Development and preliminary testing of a smart garment that integrates sensing technology to monitor children while wearing the exoskeleton.
We were thrilled to have children with cerebral palsy and healthy children participate in the clinical gait lab measurements and test the technology developed during the project. We would like to express our gratitude to the young participants and their parents for their valuable and inspiring contribution!
Here are a few testimonials!
